Clutch slave cylinder failure ?

Yesterday morning I went to the garage to start my 92' 900T. As I turned the key into the ignition to turn the accessories on I engaged the clutch to take it out of reverse to start and the clutch pedal was dead. I replaced the master cylinder about a year and a half ago and there was no fluid on the floor mat so I looked under the car and found a sizable puddle of break fluid pooled under the transmission. Does this sound like a failed slave cylinder for the clutch?
It is a easy repair or am I better off taking it into the shop?
Thank you in advance for your help.
