Exhaust System Help ...
Posted by robert Hakalski [Email] (more from robert Hakalski) on Sun, 7 Dec 2014 07:01:38
So i thought I was being followed by a cadre of Hell's Angels on my way back from the supermarker this morning ...... anyway, it appears that where that center pipe connects to the front of that middle muffler .... some kind of flange either broke off or rotted away?!? .... I haven't had any part of the exhaust system replaced in a really long time so I just wanted confirmation that I would need:
1) middle muffler
2) since for some reason the car never had a rear muffler ..... a rear muffler
3) pipes to connect these, etc.
Is there anything I should be aware of in terms of getting the correct parts or any installation quirks I should be aware of?? Not sure if I'm going to replace this myself, but somehow I think
going to a Meineke wouldn't be such a hot idea.
Any thoughts much appreciated!
