THE NOISE THAT ANNOISE ......
Posted by Robert Hakalski [Email] (more from Robert Hakalski) on Tue, 5 May 2015 10:38:15
Hi All - a question for those of you who've had a closer look at their catalytic converter than I ever have - a buzzing sound @ about 2800 RPM - i took my 900S for inspection and put the car on a a lift to try and pinpoint that buzz. my mechanic said something about an inner "collar" or shield on the CC that can loosen over time and cause the buzzing. Not much one can do about it since these CC are so expensive. Depending on the temperature, i sometimes get it or not (metal expands?). anyway, am i stuck with this buzz? thanks!
