1989 SPG with working mouse belts and power antenna: Struggling with battery drain in 24-36 hours. New battery. New brushes in original alternator. All connections clean and tight. I pulled fuses at shoulder belt system under back seat. Next will unplug the antenna. It has been mentioned that sometimes the voltage regulator in alternator can drain
current. Is this possible? Replace entire alt, or just regulator?
I have never understood how mouse belts and antenna can drain current when car is off and parked, since they are powered by the ignition switch. Explain this please.
Thanks Maties.
