94 Classic Converible.
I had the Brake Fluid and ABS light flash whenever I used the brakes. I researched it here and thought it an easy fix, but, could not find a brake bomb anywhere. I did see used ones at $350 but I wasn't going to do that seeing there is a rubber bladder inside (20 YO rubber just doesn't seem worth $350.
Just posting this to report I found a brake Bomb on the bay. It was much bigger but actually fit!
I disconnected the battery, pumped the pedal 25 times,
Put a rag around the bottom of the bomb to catch any fluid, turned with an allen wrench, it came off easily. I only had a slight squirt when I was almost done unscrewing it. I looked and said, no way, they are too different but tried, and it screwed right on. There wasn't room for the metering valve, but it was apparently unnecessary. The new one has no allen wrench on top so I hand screwed it an and tightened it as much as I could. Success! I took about a minute for it to pump up when I started the car but now no more brake lights go on.
The part I bought was new at $199. Here is the link and the pics of my finished install/
