The 9-5 is quite a different shock setup than the c900.
I am running Koni Sports (yellow) on the 9-5. I also put wagon springs in the back of a sedan as I often load it pretty heavily, and the wagon springs are a touch stiffer (many problems happen with the 9-5 rear suspension under load!!)...
The car is much tighter than with the oem (sachs/boge also) shocks, but they were also getting worn to some degree at that point (especially the rears).
Koni shocks are adjustable and I have mine on the 9-5 on the middle setting. I like a firm ride and that is what I have with that car but it is not harsh. Pretty much perfect imho. I'm also using performance tires on 17" rims. Not everyone would like this though, as I know some are in to comfort. The 9-5 in stock non-aero form is too comfy imho.
Koni reds are a little different, but I intend to put them on our 1993 someday. Wish I had thought to do that up front! But bilsten touring are not bad.
