Bernie, those are great suggestions, but I am confused about one of them...
Yes, I have cleaned the grounds when this started happenning, and again recently on the head and at the core support - not much corrosion to speak of the second time cleaning, so that is good.
I am planning on checking the continuity to the wires from the ECM to the TPS next.... THanks for that suggestion...
Yes, I checked all the wiring on top of the motor, and the area that can be damaged by rotating belts if the loom sags too low and all that wiring is good visually, and I removed the old loom material, and rebuilt the loom as well.
I am curious why removing the AC compressor relay is something to try?
I had removed the AV compressor years ago, and the condensor to install a FMIC, but left the circuitry and jumpered the accumulator switch so that I could run the AC fans on a hot day manually. If I remove this relay, what is the result?
