Try to diagnose issue with the following steps...

First try and source a known good replacement factory head unit. Plug in, enter code and see if speakers work. If so, head unit needs repair.

If first step provides no change, swap out head unit cage with know good unit. Again, try original head unit and known good one from step one. If speakers now work, cage bad.

Step three would be to grab a know good used speaker or purchase a cheap set that you can return if needed from the auto parts store. Attach wires. If okay then speakers are blown.

If the rears are working, then most likely the amp is fine. Speaker wires are very rarely an issue....especially if you have been running them for eight years with no issue.

My guess is the head unit or cage is malfunctioning. If repair on either is needed, contact Saabradio in Utica, NY. Owner advertises on Saabnet. Quick turnaround and warranty though not cheap....
