Late to the party here but this discussion speaks to the need for a better lubricant in the transmission than what was OEM specified. True synthetics such as Red Line MTL is a very good product imo to run in the gearbox & this fluid remains stable to a higher temperature than conventional dino oils. There are other advantages to this type of fluid beyond what the focus is here.
