My faithful 92 900T (owned 17 years) has a F'in' slave issue now too:
I had replaced the slave when I did the whole clutch job. what a mistake. IF it ain't broke...don't fix it.
Worse is that I threw away the old slave cylinder.
Now, my slave is stuck pushed out. YES, that's 'easier' for when I need to pull it apart, but it froze (rust?) when the clutch was depressed.
I have to rip the whole thing apart just to get to the slave. just to replace it with yet another reman/'new' one.
just my rant representing my BS these days with the ol' c900 rusting in my driveway.
