80 ft-lbs is the standard torque for lug nuts.
Also, maybe they're standard lug nuts and don't seat well on the DS -- a guess.
I once had a set of Ronals that would loosen unless I cranked them on -- just torqued enough so that I had to use a breaker bar with an added pipe extension to crack them loose.
