It's no secret really, just dang bizzy trying to keep this ship afloat......
I use adjustable height springs made to offset inwards on the front so wider tires don't rubbah dubbah. In the rear, the axle is relocated forward 10mm, koni's all the way around on high setting. Rear axle adjustable panhard bar, new bushings where needed, poly where best, rubber where best, and then a very time consuming 4 wheel alignment step by step, keeping track of where we started and how to make sure it all gets happy when lowering the chassis.
The chassis tuning is interesting as with these engines, you can tweak out almost 200 hp without doing to much, and laying down that power in an organized manner can be a challenge. And expensive if you do it 17 times like I have and now have finally settled on what seems to feel good. I'm just praying my wife likes how it drives and rides, that will be the big test.
I'm not sure what I'll do different on the SPG chassis, but that will be a track car, dual use on the street. Maybe something simple like put the engine behind the front seat run midengine aluminum block V8 with a Porsche transaxle. Something ho hum.......yeah right......
