Hi guys.
Ive been doing some searching and following ideas and still stuck..
This was a project car I got from Paul Dolmetsch before he recently passed. 86 900 Turbo rose quartz. Ive been twiddling with it all summer and just went for its first fire up.
Stated up and ran wonderfully for the first 3-4 minutes then just stopped as if it was out of gas. (I have the dash off and nothing connected inside FYI, put 5 gallons in case)
NO FUEL IN RAIL
JUMP 27 and 30 gas everywhere
FYI PO has over-boost switch removed (which i was going to do anyway) The wires are connected. I undid and redid my own to be sure.
Swapped out fuel and system relays with other ones I had.
Tried a different APC
ETHER DOWN VACUUM LINES GETS IT TO COUGH AND DO A VERY QUICK\CRAPPY START
Pretty sure ignition is fine. Cant get working fuel pump to run.
I think I need to look at this over pressure switch thing maybe?
Its weird the first time I cranked after removing and replacing parts for 6 months it started up like a champ.
I think right before it died the idle maybe went high for a second before it dropped out.
Thanks for any insight! I would love to drive this baby for fall!
Thank you!!!!!
