Turning on the heater this AM resulted in defrost air leaks caus fogging on the windsheild. Switching to full defrost cmpletely fogged the windshield. Thincking I might haev a hater core leak, I checked the carpets and they are all as dry as a bone. Coolant level in the reservoir is unchanged and I'm not smelling that sweet antifreeze aroma either. I did a search which resulted it me checking the carpets and coolant level so now I'm stumped.
If I keep the defroster on, the windshield eventually clears after car gets to full temp and foggng is no longer an issue. Am I missing something here? Could it be the heater valve? How can I check it out?
