Just to jog my memory......with the speedo, doesn't it come out in one piece,and the tach you have to remove the tach needle and pull the mess through the bezel? I forget why I abandoned ship on replacing the tach as I could have done it, instead I pulled the speedo head unit with a few screws, put it into the good tach cluster and off we go. I did that to retain the odometer, otherwise, I would have just swapped in the entire unit.
