Thanks for the post SImon. The low voltage reading on the meter suggests a lean condition though. (0.03v). As Justin suggested, and as soon as my new ignition coil arrives, I'll be checking voltage at the battery for voltage drops under load. It might be that the alternator not keeping up with the load is affecting the fuel pumps ability to flow enough fuel. (If the battery/voltage regulator checks out I'll be on the fuel pump checking voltage there to see what it's getting under load).
Battery was tested at O'reillys and they said it checks out, so it could be the regulator on the alternator. I replaced it with a non Bosch one a little while ago. All speculation at this point though, I need to see what the meter tells me.
