Re: DAILY DRIVING a '93 Turbo?! - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
I have a 93 900 T in Massachusetts. It’s in great shape now. I have used it on 495 during rush hour occasionally. I would not use it on a daily basis in bumper to bumper traffic. I store the car from October to May. A thorough check should be done before buying. I purchased my car through Saabnet from Colorado. Spoke with the mechanic in Colorado and he said everything was great. When I got the car I had my mechanic go through the car to the tune of $3,000! He found a broken motor mount as well as brake and steering issues. Now everything is sorted. Gary at International Auto in Westford is a good mechanic. They all own older Saabs or Volvos and know how to get parts and make repairs. He will also do pre- purchase inspections. Good luck.
