My 2 cents..
The last time I did the clutch (during my auto to manual conversion), I had the old slave from the guy who pulled it out of the donor. He had lots of trouble and it looked like he took a saw to it until he encountered the shaft and gave up. It was a mangled looking mess, so, I bought a new one from eeuro. The new one only lasted a few days and failed!. I took it out and, with the o-ring kit from Eeuro, i installed the mess, thinking it would be temporary until eeuro could send me a replacement. Sure enough, I have the replacement but the old one worked great, so I let it go. Been 5 years at least and it is still working perfectly. I still have the new one. The new vs old is day and night. The new one is much lighter, and, it isn't smooth in the piston (which is what I think messed up the o-ring)
