Thanks...I received the new NGK coil today and tested its resistance. between - and + it's within normal range shown in the Bentley manual, however, between - and the center tower it reads 9200 which is above the 8200 recommended ready in the manual. Could the higher resistance of this new coil create the same issue?
Or because you mentioned corrosion as a possible cause, I'm missing the rubber boot that covers the coil and its possible moisture got on there that wouldn't have if I had the boot..
