1979-1993 & 94 Conv
It's classic, you're stopped dead by some damn thing on your car you just can't budge and after you've managed to undo it and move on it seems so damn obvious how to deal with it. Experience counts! Full disclosure: I tapped out my old driver - I can see the wear in the cup - and realized the driver I had picked up on Fleabay is a 79-84. Don't know how I did that. And it seemed the supply of good 85-94 drivers was exhausted. And $750 for a NG900 driver. Hah! Fortunately Erikson had a refurbished part for me. $95. God bless!
I was doing this job to in preparation for the sale of the car and approached it with some trepidation but apart from the obvious boners it went very smoothly, I've bonded with the car and am having second and third thoughts about letting her go (she's a beauty). I hold you partially responsible!
