IIRC, you'll also need to remove two strange 3-lobed nuts during deconstruction and inspection/adjustment of the shifter assembly between the seats. Should those need to be removed in the course of your repairs, one approach is to tap the lobes with a drift or flat-head screw-driver. A better option, in my experience, is to take an el-cheapo socket from your tool box or hardware store and use a dreml to cut female acceptor slots out of the sides-- makes life easier both during and after diagnosis and repair.
