you can go to yer local Home Despot or ACE Hardware and get some SAE nuts to replace them. SAAB used good old non-metric carriage bolts to hold the shifter assembly down.
The first time I replaced the tri-lobe nuts, I made the mistake of getting stainless steel hex nuts to replace them. Can't pick those up with a magnet when they fall and burrow under the carpet :-(
