Re: Steering Wheel Puller Bolts - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
The car's at a vacation house and I'd like to have the puller available in case the pull hard solution doesn't work. On my boat the mechanic told me I'd have to beat on my shaft coupling with a hammer to get it off and it would be so damaged it would need to be replaced. The gear puller did it so easily no hammer, no damage, and everything went back together easily. I sure wish I knew the diameter and pitch on those bolts. The look like maybe 8 mm judging by the 22 mm nut.
