92t Conv. delayed start/no start issues resolved
After cleaning the ignition switch connections, removing
the shifter switch assembly and cleaning the brass bars back to a
shiny surface, I removed the negative ground to the engine. I couldn't
clean the bolt on the transmission case because of it's location(which was very dirty with grease etc and the bolt wouldn't come out because it hit the engine mount before clearing), I realized that the cable had enough slack that I could reinstall on a bolt higher up on the tranny case that was easy to polish the surface with a dremel. Cleaned the cable connection and applied a little dielectric grease.
That resolved the cold delay in start issue.
The no start once hot, that was the less than 12 month old starter.
My indy replaced it at no charge.
Thanks to everyone for their help in pointing me in the right direction.
