The ignition switch on the 92 convertible with auto trans that I just bought is very hard to turn to the starting position. Is that typical or does it need a new switch or lockout?
Also, given the design of the console, would it be relatively easy to wire in a starter button? I've done that on my Volvo 1800, since they are notorious for breaking key6s because of the strength of the spring? If it works, it would be an excellent solution.
