So I had the transmission on the workbench and was going through all of the gears. 1st through 4th just fine reverse just fine. No 5th.I had the covers off.I've never taken a trainee apart so I didn't exactly know what I was looking for I was just trying to make sure everything looked okay before I put new gaskets on all of the covers.didn't really think nothing of not being able to get it into 5th while it was sitting on the workbench. So I put it all together get it in the car and I still have no 5th gear. I'm going to change the dog-bone over to the other style of linkage. Now that linkage was in the other transmission and shifted just fine so I wouldn't really think there's anything wrong but we're going to switch it over to the other linkage anyway and see what happens. Any thoughts
