Thanks, Justin. I must confess to being severely ignorant when it comes to basic electrical work like this. I'll be learning as I go along here -- I should be able to figure out how to test for continuity on the driver's door module. But with regards to the plug in the passenger footwell, I'm not sure which points specifically to interconnect with the jumper wires?
PS - I don't know if this adds anything to the diagnosis, but the locks had been working intermittently. (That is, at least before I cooked my module's board; don't know yet whether the module's since been rendered inoperable.)
