Based on what you've mentioned the sensor checks out then. I need to learn more about how resistances work in circuits... I guess I wanted to find out if the circuitry inside the ECU was performing as it should be, I assumed the circuit would show the same resistance when connected.
I'm trying to track down a loping idle and random hesitation on cold start and why my O2 sensor doesn't kick in. Even when the engine begins to warm up the O2 registers at 0.2v and doesn't move until I restart the car, then it's between 0.3v and 0.9v, swinging evenly.
Now that I know the NTC is working correctly I'm suspecting the AMM might be worth a look. Am I right in thinking that the AMM is pretty much in control until the O2 sensor kicks in?
