I just went through my annual safety inspection (Virginia) and got "dinged" twice on my fog lights. The right one was loose and the second ding was they would not turn off when bright's were turned on. I have an aftermarket switch that turned the fog lights on and off when I wanted them to. In passing I mentioned I think I will just take the damn things off. That would have been my 3rd ding, as the Saab came with fog lights. Something about removing OEM safety equipment. There are only, I think, 7 states that still have annual safety inspections; not reason enough to move, but almost.
