I have suspected the mounts were going bad due to unusual vibration when accelerating out of corners in addition to recent shifting issues. These are issues that the car did not have when I owned it prior.

What has worked for others with very modified high output cars? Once Scanwest puts in the built trans and motor (with my existing mods) I am expecting around 350hp. My end goal is 400hp. The car will be a street car, so I think solid aluminum is not what I want.

I have a post below regarding the shifting issues that I believe are at least partially due to bad motor mount(s). It you have any thoughts related to motor mounts and/or shifting problems, I would be happy to read those below.
