That has happened a few times to my '89 SPG. On this particular car, I was able to get the window working again by reaching up behind the knee bolster and wiggling the middle one of the three bulkhead connectors that connect interior wiring to the fuse box to get better connection on the pins.
It's a bit of a contortionist procedure but, if you're good at locating things by feel, it's very doable. The connectors are located in front of and a bit above the hood release lever. You'll feel 3 rectangular pieces of plastic (approx 2-1/2" by 1-1/4") with wires going into them.
This is what the connectors look like. (They actually face the other way in the car.)
