I've converted 3 c900s to 134a. You can buy a conversion kit which has the proper o-rings and pressure fittings as well as the fender stickers. You'll need the proper ester oil and a couple cans of 134a refrigerant. Do yourself a favor and get an AC flush bottle that you connect to an air compressor and PROPER system flush. Some people say that mineral spirits or lacquer thinner will work as a flush, and some AC experts say no way. Since I didn't want to spend more money on a second redo, I took the cautious route and got the proper flush.

Check all your hoses first. Leaks develop at the connections on the larger hoses. If you can twist the aluminum compressed collar on the metal tubing, the hose is past its life. The expansion valve and receiver/drier will need replacement. Other components (including the compressor) can be reused if currently working and flushed properly. NOTE: The hoses which connect to the receiver/drier get corroded because of their location in the fender. It is better than a 80% chance that the nut is seized to the aluminum tubing and you will snap the tubing if you try and force it. Use extreme caution here. That hose in NLA and used ones are getting hard to come by.

The cheapo vacuum pump and AC gauges from Harbor Freight work fine.

Check the link to the conversion instructions and other AC documentation on the Townsend website for a basic guide.
