I didn't see anything about adjusting the emergency brake, and that could contribute to the lost motion.
We start bleeding from the longest run and then the next longest, and so forth. I use a cap on the MC rez with a bike valve and pump slight pressure to the rez, then capture the fluid in a little bottle that is below the zerk elevation.
We think you still have air in the line, there is a ballooning line or the ebrake is not adjusting into the rotor properly. Kinda like what the other posters mentioned as well. So, in agreement on those points.
You might try the before and after starting test with an added variable -- one set of tests with no ebrake and one test cycle with the ebrake pulled.
