If you move the head unit to the slot in the console, be warned that some head units give off excessive heat. The Blaupunkt unit Tokyo & Munchen will not work properly in that slot- believe me I have tried. I am nnot sure what other head units will do the same thing. It is quite cramped down there and with the heat from the floor coming through to that point I would be cautious.
