I race prepped a na and nearly doubled the hp .... started life at 8:1 . Very rewarding, very smooth. Used 50 ml burette to balance chambers.
Centerforce alum flywheels are avail but pricy. I just put a light steel one in my 'other' car, and it works well ... spunkier in low gears, easier shifting. I would be cautious about using it and a grabby puck clutch ... tricky to get going.
Main cap on big na hp is rev-limiter ... vince was working on it (ferarri up to 18000 rpm now?). Mabe find another control system from j-yard where ecu can be chipped? 320i, etc? Stand alone ecu's (haltech, wolf) can be pricy.
Emissions req'ts would limit things in my state.
good luck
