Bear with me, but I'll try one more time. The EDU receives voltage from the coolant sensor (NTC resistor) through pins 34 and 27 (yellow and orange wires, respectively). It calculates the coolant temperature from the resistance and uses the information to control the 2 steps on the radiator fan by sending signals out pins 5 & 6 (blue and blue/white wires, respectively). So, it's the EDU that controls the radiator fan, not the temperature gauge and I'm sorry if I implied that. The temperature gauge gets it's input signal from the pin 30 (a yellow wire) from the EDU. It's the EDU that does all the calculations and is controlling both the radiator fan and the temperature gauge. Now, the fuel gauge has only 2 wires: a green one which is the control signal from pin 24 on the EDU, and a powering green/white wire from pin 22 on the EDU. This is what's IMPORTANT: it doesn't show on the later schematics, but on the '94 schematics it shows that the green/white power wire is also connected (at J28) to the airbag module, that is, it supplies power to the airbag module....so you may want to check that, too......hth
