is about a bike, a guy and his son riding on northen Montana and takling issue of life, death and general relativity. I read the book more than 20 years ago and do remember that Pierce stressed:
'Good mechanics do not appreciate you talking when they run the engine since they mentally tuned in contructing mental flowcharts from vib, sounds and smell...'

Being tuned with your saab is the first step in maintenance ...
