Count the cranks

I'd like to get an idea of how many cranks your Saabs need before firing up-
When cold, I counted about 8 cycles before it fired up, and about 2 or 3 when it's been warmed up.
I've always suspected the extra time was needed to repressurize the fuel system after it bled down, but I've tried manually pressurizing it beforehand, and didn't have any aha event. Occasionally, even when cold and sitting around for a long time, it would fire immediately, but most of the time, there's that extended cranking symptom.
Next time you start up cold, see if you can count how many cranks it needs before it starts. Just wanted to see if my two samples are representative or not.
