After I got home from work yesterday (12 mile drive) the cooling fan on our 1991 9000 (172,000 miles)came on when I parked the car. About 20 minutes later it was still on and subsequently went off. It was about 100 degrees at the time, and the engine had run normally and showed no sign
of overheating with temp gauge normal.
My question is whether this long of a cooling fam operating interval would be considered to be normal? Or is there some component of the cooling system that I should be checking out.
All suggestions are most welcome.
