High-mileage 9000 Aero, no records, but feels ok: y/n

I've found myself in a situation with a very tempting 1995 9000 Aero for sale locally; I'm in the Boston area, and one would expect to see them more often, but even here they are pretty rare. This particular specimen has a Nordic Stage 3 tune with K&N intake and JT3 stainless exhaust, and it is crazy fast with no untoward noises or vibrations. It's in excellent condition with no unusual smells from the heater or exhaust, and the only problems being a leaky washer bottle and some clearcoat issues on the hood. The one thing giving me pause about it is a complete lack of service records, and at ~200,000 miles, that's a worry. My question is, if I was to buy this car, would a thorough round of preventative maintenance (fluids, hoses, belts, etc) from an experienced Saab mechanic (plenty of those around here) be good enough to keep it in top shape? I'm used to Japanese cars and late-model Jaguars where the fundamentals are sound so long as one maintains them properly, and where ticking time-bombs are few. Thanks for your thoughts; I realize this is an unusual time to get into Saabs, but they've held my attention for quite some time, and it's only now that I have the resources to do so.
