Rds denotes a different type of signal than the one in question. In this case, you should use RDS which would mean we are dealing with a DC signal (Rds denotes an AC signal). However, since the BPC transistor is an E-MOSFET (Which should be RDS(on)), then you should already know that there is no RDS except when under voltage control. This parameter is mostly irrevelant anyway since the parameter to take into consideration is transconductance. Since this particular transistor is composed of P-type material, then the majority carrier is not really conductive for measurement with an ohmeter without an electric field present. The fact that you stated that a transistor's switching speed (which is in the order of nano-seconds) is faster than a coil (a severe understatement) raises an eyebrow or two. Since an E-MOSFET is a normally-off device, what is your point (avalanche breakdown)? Your post is kinda strange... Anyway, you may continue to use Google as your technical resource if you wish.
