I was working on this just today! Then I came to the forum for help... probably the wrong order...

the pivot linkages are loose inside the panel. Were they at some point riveted or connected to the door? I can't see any broken plastic or anything.

my door latchwork has been disconnected for some time. The only reason central locking didn't work is because the fuse was broke. so when i replaced the fuse the door locked but then the fuse blew again. Don't know what's shorting the fuse.

I opened up the door and everything works except for the pivot linkages i think. Are there any diagrams that will help me secure them to the door?

I think a sticky mechanism that unlocks the door may have put undue presure on the pivot linkages. I'm ready to pull the other rear door panel off to compare.
