My car just passed 90k, with what are probably the original fuel filter and pump. Could be a premature failure for a fuel pump but the car sat for almost 4 years before I bought it with 87k, so I'm not surprised. In my experience, SAABs don't like to sit. I replaced the D.I. cassette and some vacuum hoses and things seem better. I'm going with a new pump and a new fuel filter at the same time, for piece of mind if nothing else.
