I have switched my '96, 275K, over to synthetic oil over the last year. In speaking with a 30+ year indie, he said he has gone back to regular oil- and showed me an intake strainer nearly completely clogged with black crud. His thinking is that the syn loosened too much up. Opinions? Thank you, Reb
