Engine mount failure-which replacement?

Well my '95 Aero 5 Speed 162k project continues-TCS now deleted. Car running good.
However, always noticed a 'grinding' type noise when engaging starter motor, and the entire engine seems to have vibrations through the car at seemingly all engine/road speeds.
AHA!! think I found culprit-first time with front end jacked up and right side fender liner removed, in order to epoxy the windshield washer tank, afforded my the first look at pulley side of engine. Has anyone ever seen the engine oil pan resting on the subframe and supporting the front of the engine?? Well now I have- and it would seem to explain the vibrations!!
Never seen a front mount collapsed this much-approximately an inch gap between the mount tap and the stop strap.
I see Eeuroparts has an 'OEM'Genuine Saab hydraulic mount for $72 which looks to be a great price, if in fact it is the OEM? The Hutchinson hydraulic mount is much more $$$. And of course the Solid rubber is inespensive, which in years past was not heartily recommended by anyone over 30.
What is the current consensus on engine mounts?
Thanks
