If it is turning over now, you're probably good. Doing the HG isn't a horrible repair, there is plenty of advice available. Having done mine 5000 miles ago, I will add a couple notes from personal experience; Double check all hose clamps. Then check them again. When firing up the engine after the change, it is likely you will throw a white cloud out the exhaust. Don't panic (yet). Mine took about 20 miles of driving before the cloud cleared - I apparently had a LOT of antifreeze in the exhaust system / catalytic converter. And check all of the hose clamps.
