Had to buy a new DI. I went OEM SEM from eeuro. I think I bought it just in time as the car was missing badly under all throttle, load and temp conditions and getting worse each day. I swapped it in the parking lot at work and drove it home. The car immediately threw a CEL for P0340 and P0301. It's odd that it didn't throw any codes when it ran like crap before the swap. It's possible those codes were stored from the earlier episode because I never reset the CEL light, it just went off by itself after a couple weeks. Anyhow, I reset the CEL and will see if it comes back. The car runs like a top and has noticeably more performance.
