I'm in the same boat. I love my 9000's, and still maintain three, but I'm trying to decide where to go next. I like the looks of Audi's but I heard they're a pain (and expensive) to work on. Same with VW's. I have looked at a bunch of 9-5's and tried to look past the crappy interior but I just don't like them that much. I thought about maybe a Volvo turbo wagon or cross over. I don't know much about them. Subaru is always an option but I just sent one to thew junk yard after spending beaucoup bucks on it. It was a 98 GT Wagon with the awesome (NOT!) EJ25 DOHC backed with a just-as-terrible AT. I think the newer ones are better. Whatever it is it needs to be unstoppable in snow. I am moving to Kalamazoo and we will get lake effect snows and I will have a 30 minute drive to work, in good weather. That probably rules out the Volvo Wagon unless AWD. Maybe a newer Subaru Outback?
