I didn't check the cooling fan to see if it was running. The needle on the temp gauge shows "normal". Haven't done a compression test and coolant levels are normal. The engine was misfiring so bad it wasn't like it's not firing occasionally, it's like it would only fire a couple times every few hundred revolutions. I drove it to work this morning and it drives like nothing happened. As long as it doesn't get really hot under the hood, the problem doesn't exist. It's supposed to get to the mid-90's today so it will most likely act up on the way home. Might not if the car keeps moving and I don't get stuck in traffic.
