This afternoon I fitted a new, genuine DI unit and new plugs to try and cure the annoying engine hesitation which has plagued me for months. It worked and everything is great again. Obviously the previous cheapo DI was not doing its stuff
However, when driving yesterday - before the change - I noticed my tach was behaving oddly. It didn't seem to rise with engine revs, staying around 2500 to 3000 when I was accelerating
Now the tachometer is working fine again, Was this coincidence, was I just mistaken, or is there a link between a bad DI and an iffy tach?
